Say Some More AAC is the iPad app that literally gives a voice to those who cant speak for themselves. Designed by a special education teacher, this customizable platform can be used for communication, as a visual schedule and to create social stories using recorded speech. Because its programmable, the possibilities are unlimited.

Its the effective and easy-to-use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) solution for those who have lost their voices due to injury, disease or developmental delay, for infants who havent yet developed their own voices, and to help overcome other communication challenges related to autism, stroke, Alzheimers or dementia.

Use screens of 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 squares, with each square displaying text, a large graphic or an actual photo. Tap on a square to launch a single word, a phrase or an entire paragraph. The text appears at the bottom of the screen as the personalized recorded human voice says it aloud. Select from other screens for additional choices. Use Quick Talk mode to have the message spoken the instant the square is tapped, or tap on several squares to add words and phrases that can then be spoken in a continuous message.

Say Some More Basic comes loaded with ready-to-go Conversations that allow the user to express needs and wants, to request food and drinks, to indicate areas and intensity of pain, and to engage in friendly conversations. Say Some More Basic allows you to choose either a male or female human voice, rather than a robotic synthesized one.

Say Some More Pro
-» In addition to all of the features of Say Some More Basic, Say Some More Pro allows the user, practitioner or loved one to create new Conversations and edit existing ones with his or her own voice. This level of customization offers the ability to tweak the Conversations to make them as individual as the users themselves to promote maximum independence and dignity. Tell a doctor what hurts and how much. Request a coffee and a bagel, a trip to the park or a favourite toy, or tell a friend a little – or a lot – about yourself. Say Some More Pro says exactly what you want it to say!

-» Camera Feature lets you insert custom photographs so, instead of tapping on an illustration of a happy or sad face, users can tap on photos of faces or items that are meaningful to them. The use of actual photos optimizes cognitive processing.

-» Insert Images from the Web. Instead of being limited to the food and activities that are included in the basic app, users can use the Search the Web feature to insert any image they choose.

-» Insert photographs from other collections that are already on your device for another level of personalization.

-» Voice Banking: With the Audio Library feature, people who may face losing the use of their voices over time can record words, phrases and entire paragraphs that can be used later on.

-» Translation Capabilities: Because it is so easy to program, you can record the voice in any language. You can even have the text appear in one language and have the voice presented in a different language. This is useful in hospital and residential settings where the health care professional can tap on a message in one language and have it presented in another language that the client understands. Its also very beneficial in the classroom when students arrive without any local language skills.

-» Use it as a daily journal to share information between school and home. Take pictures of events and easily add text and voice, so when the child gets home, theres a summary of the day to share and review.
